Over the years, we have received literally hundreds of letters from parents, grandparents, and even campers with a common theme: Camp Renaissance and/or K-O Skills was an extraordinary experience.

The following letter appeared in Connecticut Magazine, in response to the Connecticut Magazine article on our camp.

My son has gone to Dan Doyle’s camps since he was 7. Now 15, he works there. Dan knows every kid and how to make all feel welcome, no matter what their skill level. He teaches sportsmanship, respect, commitment and confidence with every word and action. Kids need heroes and leaders they can believe in and look up to, and that’s Dan. I could not ask for a better mentor for my son.
